I actually found this in the street in the fall and never got around to posting it:
Dearest JuJu,
Thank you so much for the card, I can finally write. Its painful but I have to do it. My clavicle was broken and wrist and both thumbs fractured. The cast is off. What a blessing. The card made me feel so much better thank you..I had a great doctor and ??? interfered and he refused me now as a patient. He heard her on speakerphone and could not believe the way she was talking to me. Now I am searching for a new doctor. It's so hard. I'll find one.

My Dear John,
This is Tuesday 20 and I am just in from the hay-field, turning hay to dry so it can be stacked up in large haystacks for the winter. I had a great day of it and now I am demanding my dinner, with pay. They tell me no pay, just dinner, believe me I am enjoying the dinner, some good Galway fish, plenty milk, the food in my house is plentiful, butter, eggs, milk, no sugar, flour, geese, hen, even broilers -- chicken, sheep too, but they don't kill those until later, I guess I'll be on my way home to America. John, really I am enjoying my trip and Saturday 24th I am on my way to the Galway races here. Horses and all kinds of sports, they talk of the Galway races here as we in America talk of the Harvard foot-ball game of the season. They are all pepped up about it - so Bridget is going to talk it in then while in Galway, I'll ride up to Dublin the Capitol and try to CoMeath, just four hrs ride from Dublin, to see Sarah McDonagh's brother and family. I think they expect me, back again to to Galway town, then on to "Co Mayo" for the big holiday thru 15th Aug. After that, home, with God helping. I'll take it easy after that. Well, John, my health is perfect, doing nothing. I have not had even a headache since I came. I'll send p'cards from different places , but no letters until Aug the 18th or so. I am writing with pencil as I am saving my ink pen for the address of letters. I am writing home Friday 23 -- so they'll have it by July 28 or so. The old homestead is getting more natural every day. The scenery from the new house where I am writing is the most beautiful I have seen. Imagine looked out on mountains and sea and lakes at once. I'll send you cards of the scenery I mean.
Someday I hope you'll feast your eyes on the same places, I had lobster for dinner Sunday night, some Class to Bridget the neighbors are very generous.
Will say so long.

Found in my apartment complex's parking lot, in an empty space. I think they would have been a little more effective if they actually spelled "douchebag" right. But I love that it's written on a thank you note for extra passive aggressiveness.
